Senior Credit Analyst

Job Overview

Review Business Banking credit applications and support sound credit decisions through financial analysis, documentation review, control checks and portfolio administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess Business Banking credit applications against approved policies and guidelines.
• Perform credit checks, document reviews and system validations.
• Process approvals, declines and rejections accurately within relevant systems.
• Prepare and review credit-related documentation and letters such as LOU/LPO where required.
• Support ongoing credit administration and portfolio maintenance.
• Prepare management information and credit reports.
• Perform control checks, identify process gaps and escalate risk issues.
• Coordinate with Business Banking, Sales, Credit Operations and other stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements that improve service while preserving risk discipline.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Banking, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of Banking or Financial Services experience.
• Experience in Credit Operations, Credit Assessment, Lending Operations or related functions.
• Knowledge of credit policies, lending documentation, banking systems and regulatory requirements.
