Manager, Identity and Access Management

Job overview: Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Manager, Identity and Access Management to join its banking team in the United Arab Emirates. Key responsibilities

• Maintain the IAM governance framework, policies and standards, keeping them aligned with information-security objectives and applicable regulatory expectations.
• Oversee identity lifecycle controls covering joiners, movers and leavers, including access requests, approvals, changes and timely removal of access.
• Review privileged and non-human identities, access entitlements and authentication controls to identify excessive access or control weaknesses.
• Monitor periodic access certifications, exceptions, remediation plans and control evidence, following issues through to documented closure.
• Work with Technology, Cybersecurity, HR, business owners and control functions to improve IAM processes and resolve governance concerns.
• Support risk assessments, management reporting, audits and improvement initiatives relating to identity security and access governance.

Requirements and qualifications

• Relevant experience in identity and access management, information security, technology risk or IT governance.
• Practical understanding of identity lifecycle management, privileged access, access reviews and role-based access controls.
• Knowledge of security policies, control frameworks and regulatory expectations in a financial-services environment.
