Senior Credit Documentation Officer

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and taking ownership of assigned outcomes.

This position provides a critical control point before approved credit facilities are released. The role reviews approvals, security documentation and facility conditions to ensure that the bank has appropriate, enforceable and properly controlled documentation supporting customer exposures. The successful candidate will contribute to dependable banking operations, protect service quality and help the business achieve its objectives while maintaining appropriate controls. This is a full-time opportunity based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify that approved facility conditions are satisfied before limits are released.
• Review facility letters, agreements, security documents, insurance and collateral information.
• Maintain accurate risk ratings, expiry dates, collateral details and credit records.
• Track exceptions, waivers and deferred documentation and escalate overdue items.
• Support audits, process improvements, reporting and safe custody of credit documentation.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in credit documentation and operations.
• Strong understanding of Islamic credit products and documentation standards.
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical and PC skills.
• Effective English communication; Arabic knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of credit policy, security and facility documentation.
