Description
The Manager – Finance Landbank maintains financial oversight of landbank and development activities. The role supports accurate landbank accounting, project budgeting, revenue recognition, cost tracking and reporting, partnering with development and finance teams to ensure reliable assumptions and compliant records.
Dubai Holding Land Estates seeks a dependable professional who can work collaboratively, exercise good judgement and help improve results over time. Solutions should be useful, secure and measurable, with appropriate human oversight and a clear understanding of data limitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review landbank transactions, accounting entries, revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion workings.
- Monitor project budgets, construction costs and capital expenditure against actual commitments.
- Reconcile landbank records, track changes and update supporting development and GFA information.
- Prepare CAPEX budgets and schedules in line with group policies and reporting timelines.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants and internal stakeholders on accounting matters and supporting evidence.
- Identify potential cost or impairment indicators and provide clear analysis for management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Around 5–7 years of experience, including at least two years in corporate finance, land banking, budgeting or reporting.
- Strong understanding of real-estate accounting and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with SQL, SAP, Oracle or MIS tools is useful.
- Knowledge of variance analysis, profitability assessment and general-ledger control.
- Strong numerical, organisational and stakeholder-coordination skills.
