AVP – Operation Support Services

Emirates Flight Catering is hiring a AVP - Operation Support Services in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role supports the organisation's high-volume aviation catering, hospitality, technology, engineering, finance, HR or operational environment, depending on the function. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver dependable results, follow established standards and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The position combines day-to-day execution with attention to quality, safety, service, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the strategy for Operations Support Services and translate business priorities into measurable operational improvement programmes.
• Lead digitalisation, automation and process-transformation initiatives across airside and flight-preparation operations.
• Use data, analytics and performance measures to improve planning, efficiency, safety and customer experience.
• Strengthen operational governance, risk management, compliance and resilience through improved processes and technology.
• Build strong relationships with airline customers, internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver transformation outcomes.
• Lead senior teams, develop capability and embed a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related
• Experience: 10+ Years operations leadership; airline catering preferred
• Core skills: Operations strategy, digital transformation, automation, analytics, operational excellence, change management
• Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving and teamwork skills are expected, together with the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Candidates should be comfortable following company policies, quality procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
