Description
Qatar Airways is seeking a Lead Business Analyst (IT) in Doha to support medium and complex business and technology transformation programmes. The role connects operational needs with technology delivery, owns solution requirements, helps managers identify delivery risks and works with programme and project teams to achieve clear business outcomes.
The role depends on accurate information, clear accountability and timely follow-through. Practical communication, suitable records, stakeholder coordination and a continuous-improvement mindset help deliver dependable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage business and technology stakeholders to understand objectives, operating challenges and intended benefits.
- Elicit, document, analyse and validate business requirements, then establish a clear baseline for solution delivery.
- Translate complex operational needs into structured business requirements, process descriptions and functional expectations.
- Work with managers to identify risks, dependencies and mitigation plans across parallel initiatives.
- Coordinate with technology architecture, delivery teams and vendors to assess solution fit, resolve issues and track agreed outcomes.
- Support planning, governance, stakeholder communications and acceptance activities throughout transformation delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of business-analysis experience is required.
- Experience delivering complex business and technology transformations is expected; airline operations knowledge, such as flight or crew operations, is highly desirable.
- Experience with loyalty platforms or CRM solutions is an advantage.
- Relevant professional credentials such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, PSM, PSPO or CSPO may be beneficial.
