Description

The Administrative Assistant supports Emirates Islamic's Engineering & Properties function, which handles property evaluations and related construction activities connected with financed properties and escrow accounts. The role focuses on document verification, file maintenance, coordination with relationship managers and external parties, and processing contractor payment requests. Accuracy, organization and timely follow-up are important because the position supports property-finance and real-estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify property-evaluation documents for completeness and compliance with internal requirements.
  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers, contractors, consultants and internal departments to obtain missing documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain files for proposed finance cases and update records in SharePoint and MIS systems.
  • Review contractor payment requests and confirm that required approvals are available before processing.
  • Handle customer and internal queries concerning property evaluations, documentation and contractor payments.
  • Maintain organized records and support timely processing against agreed turnaround requirements.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to update documents, trackers, reports and correspondence.
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • High School Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in construction documentation, property finance or contractor payment processing.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Basic understanding of construction contracts and payment processes.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and stakeholder-coordination skills.
