Assistant Pharmacist

Support the pharmacy team in preparing and supplying medicines safely while maintaining accurate records, stock controls and professional service standards. The role is suited to a pharmacy support professional who can work carefully, follow procedures and contribute to efficient medication services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with dispensing and preparation activities under appropriate pharmacist supervision.
• Help maintain medicine stock, storage conditions, expiry checks and orderly pharmacy areas.
• Support accurate documentation, billing and inventory processes as assigned.
• Communicate respectfully with patients and colleagues and refer clinical questions to the responsible pharmacist.
• Follow medication-safety, confidentiality, infection-control and regulatory procedures consistently.

Requirements

• Education: Relevant pharmacy qualification or approved pharmacy support training
• Experience: Relevant pharmacy support experience
• Professional approach: Strong communication, patient focus, teamwork, accurate documentation and commitment to applicable UAE healthcare standards.
