Description
Provide consultant-level anaesthetic care across the perioperative pathway, applying evidence-based practice and maintaining high standards of clinical safety. The role involves patient assessment, anaesthetic management, risk control and collaboration with surgical and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients before anaesthesia and develop appropriate anaesthetic plans based on clinical needs.
- Provide safe anaesthesia and perioperative care in line with professional standards and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients closely and manage clinical risks associated with anaesthetic care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Support continuous professional development, clinical teaching and quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Education: Recognised medical degree and specialist anaesthesia qualification with applicable UAE registration and life support certification
- Experience: Consultant-level anaesthesia experience
- Professional approach: Strong communication, patient focus, teamwork, accurate documentation and commitment to applicable UAE healthcare standards.
