Group Senior Manager – Legal

The role provides senior legal leadership and practical counsel to support business decisions, manage legal exposure, and maintain effective governance across the organization. It works with business leaders and internal stakeholders to resolve complex legal matters and ensure agreements and activities align with applicable laws and company policies. The position is based in Dubai, UAE unless otherwise confirmed during recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise senior management on commercial, corporate, regulatory, governance, and legal-risk matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, transaction documents, policies, and other legal instruments.
• Oversee disputes, external counsel, claims, and legal proceedings, ensuring appropriate strategy and cost control.
• Develop legal processes, compliance guidance, and governance practices across relevant business units.
• Support business initiatives by identifying legal implications early and presenting clear, commercially practical recommendations.

Requirements and Qualifications

A recognized law degree and relevant professional qualification are expected, together with substantial corporate or commercial legal experience. The role requires strong contract drafting, negotiation, risk analysis, leadership, confidentiality, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage complex matters across stakeholders and jurisdictions.
