Technician – A/C

The Technician - A/C performs servicing, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance for air-conditioning systems. The described scope includes split units, ducted split units, package units, inverter systems and VRF/VRV equipment. The role supports dependable cooling performance and safe maintenance across assigned facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned inspections and preventive maintenance on air-conditioning units and components.
• Troubleshoot operating faults and complete repairs within the assigned technical scope.
• Check system performance, controls, drainage and operating conditions after service work.
• Use tools correctly, maintain service records and report major faults or replacement needs.
• Follow safety procedures, use required PPE and coordinate with the HVAC supervisor and maintenance team.

Requirements and Qualifications

The role sits within facilities maintenance and reports to an HVAC Supervisor. Candidates should have practical air-conditioning maintenance knowledge and be able to work safely on assigned systems. Careful troubleshooting and familiarity with controls are important.
