This Engineer role supports engineering performance in an industrial laundry or large-scale manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work with operational teams to investigate equipment or process issues, improve performance and support engineering solutions that contribute to safe, consistent and sustainable operations. Key Responsibilities
- Support the reliable operation of industrial or automated equipment through planned maintenance, technical checks and timely fault resolution.
- Investigate recurring breakdowns and performance issues, identify root causes and recommend practical engineering improvements.
- Review equipment performance and operating data to identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity and resource use.
- Coordinate with operations and technical teams to schedule maintenance while minimising interruption to production.
- Support process optimisation initiatives that improve output, reduce waste and maintain consistent operational standards.
- Follow engineering safety procedures, quality controls and relevant maintenance documentation requirements.
- Contribute to equipment planning, technical problem-solving and the development of more efficient working methods.
Requirements
- Experience with industrial laundry, large-scale manufacturing or automated equipment is particularly relevant to this vacancy.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills, including the ability to use evidence when making decisions.
- A practical, hands-on approach to improving asset reliability and production processes.
- Ability to work across teams, communicate technical issues clearly and contribute to continuous improvement.
