Job Overview

Al Majid Group is recruiting for the Technical Manager Fitout position in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity supports the group’s fit-out, joinery, construction or technical operations and is suited to a professional with relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate effectively with internal teams, project stakeholders, suppliers and site personnel while maintaining quality, safety, programme and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across fit-out and joinery projects.
• Review design information, specifications, shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Manage technical coordination between design, factory, site and project teams.
• Oversee material approvals, mock-ups and technical clarifications.
• Resolve complex construction and interface issues.
• Guide engineers and technical staff and review their outputs.
• Support value engineering and buildability improvements.
• Ensure technical deliverables meet quality, programme and project requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, architectural or related engineering.
• Extensive fit-out/interior technical-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, construction detailing and coordination.
• Leadership, problem-solving and consultant-management skills.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be organized, technically capable and comfortable working in a project-driven environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards. UAE or GCC construction experience may be advantageous depending on the role.
