Store Assistant (Automotive Spare Parts)

United Al Saqer Heavy Equipment is seeking a Store Assistant to support its Spare Parts Department in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on accurate receiving, storage, handling and issuing of automotive and heavy-equipment spare parts and related inventory. The successful candidate will organize stock in designated locations, load and unload parts and tires safely, package and label items correctly and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse. The position also requires verification of incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents, accurate stock issuing and receiving, regular inventory checks and proper filing of records and invoices. Candidates with previous store or warehouse experience, particularly in spare parts environments, are preferred. Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and components can be beneficial, while familiarity with inventory-management systems is desirable. Strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills and the physical ability to handle warehouse tasks are important for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, organize and store spare parts in designated warehouse locations.
• Load and unload parts and tires carefully and safely.
• Package and label items accurately for storage or dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders, delivery notes and agreed quantities.
• Follow established procedures for receiving and issuing stock.

• Use inventory systems and maintain accurate stock information.

Requirements

• Previous store or warehouse experience is preferred, especially in automotive or spare-parts operations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of heavy equipment and components is beneficial.
• Customer-service skills and the ability to respond to queries professionally.
• Ability to lift, move and handle parts and other warehouse materials when required.
• Familiarity with inventory-management software or systems is desirable.
