Job Overview

University Hospital Sharjah is recruiting for the Staff Nurse ICU/HDU/LTCU position in Sharjah, UAE. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for critically ill patients.
• Prioritize care and delegate appropriate activities to team members.
• Administer medications within scope and monitor clinical changes.
• Assist physicians with procedures and examinations.
• Maintain accurate admission-to-discharge documentation.
• Educate patients and families according to care plans.
• Maintain equipment, crash-cart stock and consumables.
• Support infection control, emergency preparedness, quality improvement and multidisciplinary care.

Job Requirements

• BSc Nursing or Diploma of Nursing with at least three years of study.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduation experience and at least 1 year in the current specialty.
• BLS required; ALS/PALS desirable.
• Current professional registration/licensing as specified by UHS.
• Fluent English, computer literacy and evidence-based practice knowledge.
