Job Overview

Al Majid Group is recruiting for the Senior Project Engineer - Fitout position in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity supports the group’s fit-out, joinery, construction or technical operations and is suited to a professional with relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate effectively with internal teams, project stakeholders, suppliers and site personnel while maintaining quality, safety, programme and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering coordination for fit-out projects from mobilization through completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions and construction details.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor technical progress, quality, productivity and compliance.
• Resolve design and site-interface issues efficiently.
• Support project planning, procurement and resource coordination.
• Review variations, claims and technical changes as required.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and site personnel.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, architectural or related engineering.
• Substantial fit-out project-engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction and joinery interfaces.
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be organized, technically capable and comfortable working in a project-driven environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards. UAE or GCC construction experience may be advantageous depending on the role.
