SENIOR PHYSICAL THERAPY SPECIALIST – sports injury rehabilitation and post-surgical care

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a Senior Physical Therapy Specialist with expertise relevant to sports injury rehabilitation and post-surgical care. Based in Dhahran, the role provides advanced physical therapy services across inpatient, outpatient and home-care settings. The specialist will manage complex impairments and disabilities, restore movement and function, reduce pain and help patients return to appropriate levels of activity and community participation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, comprehensive physical therapy services for patients requiring advanced and complex interventions.
• Assess physical limitations, movement disorders, impairments, pain and functional restrictions and develop appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Deliver rehabilitation care across inpatient, outpatient and home-care environments according to patient needs.
• Support recovery following injury, surgery, disease or lifelong conditions and help patients regain mobility, agility and functional independence.
• Apply clinical reasoning and evidence-based rehabilitation approaches when planning and delivering treatment.
• Mentor staff members by supporting development of clinical reasoning, critical thinking and practical skills.
• Identify areas where targeted staff-development programs may improve clinical practice and patient care.
• Evaluate rehabilitation equipment and patient-care supplies and provide appropriate recommendations to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient-centered care.
• Maintain professional standards, accurate documentation and safe clinical practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in an appropriate physical therapy or related specialty.
• More than 15 years of professional experience, including a minimum of two years after completion of a Master’s degree.
• Current BLS certification.
• Advanced English and basic Arabic language capability.
• Strong clinical expertise, mentoring ability, documentation skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
