Senior Officer – Teller Operations (Emirati Talent)

DIB is looking for a Senior Officer – Teller Operations in Dubai to deliver accurate, efficient and customer-friendly teller services. The position focuses on cash transactions, cheque handling, security items, reconciliation, vault controls and branch operational support while maintaining compliance with banking procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate teller services covering cash management, cheques and security-related transactions.
• Maintain high customer-service standards while reducing transaction waiting times and turnaround times.
• Follow bank policies, operating manuals, service standards and conduct requirements to maintain controlled branch operations.
• Process cash transactions accurately and verify notes, denominations and supporting information before completing customer transactions.
• Reconcile physical cash balances against system records and investigate differences promptly.
• Maintain appropriate cash balances for teller staff and support the secure management of branch funds.
• Act as custodian for assigned securities and approvals relating to transactions above teller cash limits.
• Supervise the vault and safe-room environment and ensure appropriate controls are consistently maintained.
• Support funds management between branches and the Central Bank and participate in relevant branch initiatives.
• Contribute to branch sales objectives and participate in service-quality or process-improvement projects.
• Attend training programs and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and colleagues.

Requirements

• Emirati national eligible for the role.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong numerical accuracy, customer-service, cash-control and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain confidentiality.
