Senior Officer – Emiratisation

The Senior Officer - Emiratisation supports EGA’s Emiratisation strategy and helps deliver objectives related to the acquisition and development of UAE Nationals. The role focuses on identifying development needs, coordinating training for Graduate Trainees and National Trainees, evaluating development plans and monitoring progress. It also involves working with management, supervisors, mentors and the EGA Scholarship team on trainee development, work placement, internship and summer-programme activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify development needs for UAE Nationals, including Graduate Trainees and National Trainees in target areas.
• Ensure training programmes address identified development needs and current or future job requirements.
• Coordinate assigned courses and work with national trainees at different levels.
• Ensure training achieves competency levels required by target departments.
• Evaluate development programmes and plans for UAE National trainees and employees.
• Conduct regular review meetings to monitor trainee progress and update development plans.
• Work with management, supervisors and mentors to evaluate progress and identify further training actions.
• Coordinate with the EGA Scholarship team on sponsored students involved in work placement, internship and summer programmes.
• Support other departmental activities and assist the line manager as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field; higher qualification is preferred.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a relevant industry or operational area.
• Organisational, interpersonal, problem-solving, networking and influencing skills.
• Decision-making ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to coordinate development activities and communicate effectively with trainees, managers and mentors.

Role Focus
