Senior Manager Regulatory Compliance

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is seeking a Senior Manager in Regulatory Compliance in the UAE. The role helps the bank understand and respond to regulatory obligations, maintain practical compliance controls and identify issues before they develop into material risks. It combines advisory work, monitoring, change assessment and senior stakeholder engagement across a regulated financial-services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on relevant business activities, policies and control processes.
• Advise business and support teams on compliance expectations and the practical steps required to address obligations.
• Plan or oversee compliance monitoring, testing and reviews, documenting findings and tracking remediation to closure.
• Support policy and procedure updates and communicate material changes to affected stakeholders.
• Prepare clear compliance reports and escalate significant issues through established governance channels.
• Promote awareness through guidance and training and work with risk, legal, audit and business functions to strengthen compliance culture.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bring senior experience in regulatory compliance, governance, legal risk or a related financial-services control function.
• Understand how to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business controls.
• Demonstrate sound judgement, concise writing and confidence advising stakeholders on sensitive matters.
• Use sound judgement, keep records accurate and follow relevant policies, confidentiality expectations and internal controls.
• Relevant education, technical training or equivalent practical experience in the field is beneficial; any mandatory credential should be confirmed before applying.
