Senior Manager/Manager, Investment and Asset Management (IAM)

Shangri-La Group is seeking a Senior Manager/Manager for its Investment and Asset Management team in Dubai. The role supports active management of the hotel and investment portfolio, evaluates strategic opportunities and contributes to asset enhancement, capital planning, business development and hotel management agreement initiatives. UAE employment visa and an expatriate package are offered to the successful candidate according to the listing.

The position combines investment analysis, financial modelling, portfolio oversight and commercial business development. The successful candidate will work with senior management, finance teams, hotel stakeholders, prospective owners and external advisers to evaluate opportunities and prepare decision-ready materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor hotel and investment portfolio financial and operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead or support Asset Enhancement Initiatives and hotel repositioning projects through market analysis, business cases and capital planning.
• Conduct investment analysis, financial modelling and valuation for acquisitions, disposals and strategic opportunities.
• Review annual hotel and investment-property valuations and capital expenditure requests.
• Prepare investment papers, portfolio reviews and approval materials for senior management and committees.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential Hotel Management Agreement opportunities.
• Prepare feasibility studies, scenario analysis, RFP responses, proposals and recommendations.
• Support HMA negotiations and transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring and commercial terms.
• Maintain relationships with prospective and existing owners and relevant internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience for Manager level or 7 years for Senior Manager level.
• Luxury hospitality experience is preferred; exposure to real estate, Big Four, investment or consulting environments is advantageous.
• Strong financial modelling, investment analysis and market-research capabilities.
• Excellent presentation, communication, critical-thinking and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
