Engineering Coordinator (Emirati National)

Shangri-La Group is seeking an Engineering Coordinator under its Emiratization Program at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi. The position supports the Engineering Division with project logistics, documentation, reporting, scheduling and communication while helping ensure hotel systems and facilities operate reliably and efficiently.

The coordinator will work with engineering colleagues and other hotel departments to organize information, track activities and support maintenance and project requirements. The role is intended for an Emirati candidate interested in developing a long-term career in hotel engineering, facilities operations and hospitality management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Engineering Division.
• Manage project documentation, schedules, trackers and related engineering records.
• Coordinate meetings, communications and follow-up actions between engineering and other departments.
• Assist with maintenance-related reporting and monitoring of departmental activities.
• Support project logistics and help ensure required information and documentation are available.
• Assist with safety, compliance and operational documentation in line with hotel requirements.
• Help maintain accurate records and reports for management review.
• Support the Engineering team in maintaining smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• UAE national candidate eligible for the Emiratization Program.
• Relevant engineering, facilities, hospitality or business qualification is preferred.
• High standard of professionalism, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Previous hospitality, facilities or customer-service exposure is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn engineering operations and hotel facilities systems.
