Waiter/ Waitress

Shangri-La Group is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi. The position focuses on delivering attentive and efficient restaurant service, understanding guest preferences and ensuring that every interaction meets the hotel’s hospitality standards.

The successful candidate will take orders, guide guests through menus, serve food and beverages, coordinate with kitchen and service colleagues and respond professionally to guest requests. The role suits a warm, detail-oriented and service-focused individual who can remain organized in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout their dining experience.
• Present menu options, answer questions and make appropriate suggestions based on guest preferences.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and service teams.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation and service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests, questions and concerns.
• Coordinate with colleagues to maintain smooth restaurant operations during busy service periods.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and hygiene standards in guest and service areas.
• Follow hotel procedures, food-safety requirements and service standards at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in luxury hospitality, restaurant service or customer service is preferred.
• High level of service standards, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Warm and friendly personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service is an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
