Dubai Holding Land Estates oversees large master-planned land developments where reliable wet-utility planning is essential to long-term community performance. The Senior Manager will manage utility requirements for water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation, firefighting and associated networks. The role brings technical planning together with authority coordination, cost control and cross-functional collaboration so designs are feasible, compliant and ready to support development.
Dubai Holding Land Estates seeks a dependable professional who can work collaboratively, exercise good judgement and help improve results over time. Solutions should be useful, secure and measurable, with appropriate human oversight and a clear understanding of data limitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review wet-utility design requirements, including capacity allocation, network corridors, distribution and plot connections.
- Evaluate potable-water, sewerage, stormwater, irrigation and firefighting requirements across existing and proposed projects.
- Review hydraulic models, utility impact studies, treatment proposals, pumping stations and related technical submissions.
- Coordinate with Dubai Municipality, utility providers and internal development, finance, construction and customer-service teams.
- Prepare or review agreements and connection arrangements, including applicable tie-in and connection-fee matters.
- Provide technical advice on masterplan changes and service requests while balancing compliance, cost and long-term operation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or a related discipline; a relevant master’s degree is advantageous.
- Experience in wet utilities, infrastructure design or master-development projects.
- Knowledge of relevant UAE authority standards and approval requirements.
- Experience reviewing consultants’ designs and coordinating with utility entities and multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional engineering or project-management certification is an advantage.
