PENETRATION TEST ANALYST

Lead offensive security testing and red-team activities across IT and operational technology environments. The position helps uncover vulnerabilities, assess the effectiveness of security controls and strengthen incident-response capabilities for business-critical and industrial systems.

The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, threat hunting and authorized red-team exercises.
• Analyze malware, vulnerabilities, forensic evidence, network traffic and security events to identify attack paths.
• Assess applications, databases, cloud environments, operating systems and network infrastructure for security weaknesses.
• Coordinate with security operations, system owners, engineers and external specialists on remediation.
• Document technical findings, prioritize risks and verify corrective measures through follow-up testing.

Requirements and Experience

• At least ten years of technical experience in information security, system administration or network engineering, including five years in information security, is expected.
• Experience in large IT/OT or industrial-control environments in the energy sector is an advantage.
• Knowledge of incident management, malware analysis, forensics, networking, cloud platforms and security governance is important.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or Systems Engineering; recognized advanced security certifications expected
