Key Responsibilities
- Lead transport-planning strategies and traffic-engineering solutions for masterplans and development proposals.
- Coordinate traffic impact assessments and related studies, checking that recommendations align with applicable authority and municipal standards.
- Manage liaison on RTA approvals and cost-sharing matters, maintaining clear records of agreements, approvals and payment status.
- Provide technical direction to consultants and project teams, identifying transport risks and interfaces early.
- Track actions, decisions, risks and progress, giving management accurate updates on approval and delivery status.
- Promote integration of transport considerations into masterplanning, phasing and related infrastructure decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering or infrastructure delivery for major developments.
- Understanding of traffic impact assessments, authority approvals and local transport planning requirements.
- Experience coordinating consultants, government entities and internal development stakeholders.
- Strong technical review, reporting, negotiation and risk-management capability.
- Ability to manage several concurrent priorities and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
