Description
The Senior ERP Finance Analyst supports the configuration, enhancement and reporting of finance systems. The role connects Finance and IT, translates business requirements into functional designs, validates system changes and develops reporting that supports budgeting, forecasting, audit requirements and management decisions while maintaining financial data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support configuration of ERP finance modules for tax compliance, financial reporting and business process requirements.
- Prepare functional design documents and work with IT teams to validate technical solutions.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, defect resolution, release readiness and implementation of enhancements.
- Maintain clear documentation of configurations, workflows, system changes and approvals under change-management standards.
- Build and maintain dashboards and financial reports using Oracle BI, OTBI, Smart View and BI Publisher.
- Work with Finance teams on budget preparation, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.
- Prepare reliable information for audits, board reviews and other compliance-related reporting.
- Check consistency of financial data across systems and investigate reporting discrepancies.
- Recommend improvements to ERP workflows and reporting controls that make processes more accurate and efficient.
Requirements and Skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting finance ERP systems and financial reporting processes.
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP and relevant reporting tools such as Oracle BI, OTBI, Smart View or BI Publisher.
- Understanding of finance processes, data controls, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, documentation discipline and ability to work with Finance and IT stakeholders.
- A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related discipline is suitable.
