Runner

Paramount Hotel Dubai is seeking a Runner to support guests and Front Office operations by ensuring luggage, messages, parcels, mail and other items are delivered safely and promptly. The role provides direct guest assistance throughout the property and requires strong knowledge of hotel facilities, services and outlets. The Runner will maintain accurate records of luggage and deliveries, provide directions, follow hotel SOPs and promote relevant hotel services when appropriate. The successful candidate should be guest-focused, professional and comfortable working in a busy luxury hotel. Previous experience in a similar role within an international 5-star property is preferred, together with good English communication and basic familiarity with OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage collection, delivery and secure storage.
• Deliver guest messages, parcels, mail and other items accurately and promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and stored luggage.
• Provide directions and helpful assistance throughout the hotel.
• Maintain current knowledge of hotel facilities, services and outlets.
• Follow all hotel SOPs, safety requirements and operational procedures.
• Promote hotel services appropriately while supporting guest needs.
• Maintain a friendly, professional and guest-focused approach at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within an international 5-star hotel, preferably a large property.
• Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and OPERA PMS.
• Physically organised, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced guest-service environment.
