Restaurant Supervisor

Paramount Hotel Dubai is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the service team in delivering consistent luxury hospitality standards. The supervisor will coordinate restaurant activities, monitor service quality, anticipate guest needs and manage service recovery when concerns arise. The role covers opening and closing procedures, table setup, buffet and side-station readiness, linen and tableware availability, cash and card procedures, and food-safety standards. The supervisor may also provide support across hotel operations when required. Candidates should have experience in a similar supervisory role within a 5-star multicultural hotel, preferably with Food & Beverage or events experience, and be comfortable working flexible shifts in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and ensure smooth service throughout each shift.
• Supervise and support restaurant service team members.
• Maintain compliance with service and operational standards.
• Deliver professional F&B service and anticipate guest requirements.
• Handle guest concerns and coordinate effective service recovery.
• Oversee opening and closing duties, table setups, buffets and side stations.
• Ensure availability and correct handling of linen, china, glassware and silverware.
• Follow cash and credit-card procedures according to company guidelines.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace standards.
• Provide lateral support across hotel operations when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role in a 5-star multicultural hotel.
• F&B and/or events experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, guest-service and complaint-handling skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and extended hours.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury environment.
