Description
FakeehCare is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Dubai to perform conventional X-ray examinations and support radiologists during specialized and interventional procedures. The role requires accurate patient identification, careful preparation, safe imaging practices, attention to image quality and thorough documentation while maintaining a professional and patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine radiographic examinations according to departmental policies, procedures and safety standards.
- Assist senior radiology staff with specialized and interventional imaging procedures.
- Verify patient identity and the correct examination site before each procedure.
- Confirm pregnancy status where applicable and follow required precautions for female patients.
- Remove radio-opaque materials that could interfere with diagnostic image quality.
- Verify examination and image identification details for accuracy.
- Apply appropriate aseptic technique when supporting procedures.
- Prepare contrast media for administration as directed and within the authorized scope of practice.
- Record required clinical and examination information accurately in department logs or systems.
- Review radiographic images for technical and diagnostic quality and escalate issues when repeat imaging may be required.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and organized condition.
- Communicate professionally with patients and explain examination steps where appropriate.
Requirements
- Appropriate diploma in radiography/radiologic technology or a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline.
- Relevant clinical imaging experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to patient identification, procedure accuracy and image quality.
- Ability to follow radiation-safety, infection-control and departmental procedures.
- Good communication, teamwork, adaptability and accountability.
- Ability to work effectively with radiologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
