Mechanical Technician

A mechanical maintenance role at Nestlé Waters KSA’s Almanhal Water Factory in Madinah, focused on keeping PET-line equipment reliable and production-ready. The position covers preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, mechanical repairs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, alignment work and troubleshooting of blow-molding and related production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read manuals, blueprints, schematics and equipment diagrams.
• Respond to breakdowns and repair mechanical systems safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose faults using suitable testing and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Install and replace hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Support shaft and motor alignment and maintenance of pumps and compressors.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on PET production lines.
• Perform root-cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Troubleshoot SIDEL or Krones blow-molding equipment and replace critical spare parts when required.

Requirements

• Mechanical diploma.
• Approximately three years of experience in PET-line mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of blow molding, compressors, RO systems, labellers and PET production lines.
• Practical maintenance and troubleshooting capability.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to respond quickly to production breakdowns.
