Assistant Manager-Facilities Management Hard Services

Support the technical and operational management of facilities so buildings remain safe, functional, compliant and reliably maintained. This full-time opportunity is based in the UAE and is suited to a professional who can combine strong functional knowledge with dependable execution, communication and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Facilities Manager with daily hard services operations and coordination across engineering and maintenance activities.
• Review preventive and corrective maintenance programmes and monitor completion against contractual requirements.
• Coordinate technicians, contractors and vendors and ensure work is performed safely and to required quality standards.
• Monitor service levels, KPIs and SLAs and highlight deviations with corrective action plans.
• Conduct regular site visits and review maintenance reports, asset conditions and outstanding work orders.
• Support coordination of hard and soft service interfaces, including housekeeping and common-area requirements where necessary.
• Work with finance and administration teams to support accurate invoicing and contract reporting.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities, support improvement projects and contribute to efficient use of manpower, equipment and materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering/Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent FM discipline; 5+ years in structured FM contracts; CAFM knowledge and UAE driving licence.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities with the confidence to work with colleagues, clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to prepare accurate reports, records and operational updates.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high standards in a fast-paced service environment.
