Manager – Technology Procurement

flydubai is seeking a Manager - Technology Procurement to lead and optimize procurement activities across technology categories. The role covers strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, commercial analysis, vendor performance and governance for areas such as SaaS, cloud consumption, on-premises infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT professional services and telecom. The position is expected to deliver value while maintaining procurement controls and supplier resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement category strategies aligned with technology and business objectives.
• Lead RFPs, RFQs and contract negotiations with software vendors, cloud providers, managed service partners and technology OEMs.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking and spend analysis to identify savings and cost-avoidance opportunities.
• Evaluate licensing models, cloud consumption patterns, infrastructure requirements and technology refresh cycles.
• Manage supplier performance reviews, risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Ensure technology procurement activities comply with internal procurement policies, governance standards and applicable requirements.
• Monitor budgets covering subscriptions, cloud consumption, managed services and infrastructure procurement.
• Prepare procurement dashboards, reports and presentations for technology leadership and governance forums.
• Support commercial and contractual risk management, including data-processing and privacy-related considerations.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and manage performance against agreed commercial and service requirements.
• Use procurement systems and data to improve transparency, reporting and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with relevant professional experience or equivalent background.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in relevant functional categories.
• Experience in technology procurement across software, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity or telecom.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP and SharePoint.
• CIPS certification is desirable.
• Fluent English.
• Strong strategic, commercial, negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
