Description
The Lobby Ambassador oversees the main lobby at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi and creates a welcoming, organized and guest-focused arrival environment. The position requires strong hotel knowledge, awareness of VIP movements and functions, proactive guest engagement and consistent adherence to luxury service and grooming standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and proactive presence in the main lobby.
- Welcome and assist hotel guests, visitors and VIPs with warmth and professionalism.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, facilities and geographical layout.
- Stay informed about VIP arrivals, in-house guests, departures, hotel functions and events.
- Engage proactively with guests and provide guidance based on their needs.
- Help manage lobby flow and reduce congestion while maintaining a calm environment.
- Support cleanliness and organization of the lobby and surrounding guest areas.
- Attend Front Office briefings and required training sessions.
- Follow grooming, hygiene, code-of-conduct and hotel operating standards.
- Complete additional duties assigned by supervisors or managers in support of guest service.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a high-volume, internationally recognized luxury hotel chain is required.
- Several years of experience in a similar position.
- Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
- Outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to understand guest expectations and deliver superior service.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
