Events Manager (Sales)

Park Hyatt Dubai is hiring for the position of Events Manager (Sales) in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time opportunity for a senior-level professional to contribute to operational excellence, service quality and the organization’s business objectives. The role requires dependable execution, professional communication, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other departments. Candidates should be comfortable working within established procedures while adapting to changing operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop wedding, social-event and group business through proactive sales activity.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed business through timely follow-up and consultative selling.
• Conduct venue inspections, presentations, tastings and planning meetings with clients.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, layouts, timelines and operational instructions.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Banquets, Rooms, Reservations and other departments for seamless delivery.
• Monitor deposits, payment schedules, forecasts, profitability and contractual commitments.
• Maintain accurate CRM and event-management records and communicate requirements to operating teams.
• Remain involved during key events, resolve concerns and identify repeat or referral opportunities.

Requirements

• Relevant events/group sales experience, preferably in luxury hospitality; strong commercial, presentation, negotiation and organizational skills; ability to lead event sales activity.
• Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills appropriate to the position.
• Ability to follow company policies, quality requirements, safety procedures and professional standards.
• Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail, with a practical approach to daily priorities.
• Willingness to collaborate across functions and contribute to continuous improvement.
