Job Overview

Al Majid Group is recruiting for the Estimator Joinery / Fitout position in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity supports the group’s fit-out, joinery, construction or technical operations and is suited to a professional with relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate effectively with internal teams, project stakeholders, suppliers and site personnel while maintaining quality, safety, programme and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and scope requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for joinery and fit-out packages.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Build accurate cost estimates covering materials, labour, plant and subcontract works.
• Identify exclusions, assumptions, risks and commercial opportunities.
• Coordinate with design, procurement and technical teams during tender preparation.
• Prepare pricing summaries and supporting tender documentation.
• Maintain estimating databases and improve cost benchmarks using project feedback.

Job Requirements

• Degree or diploma in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction or related field.
• Relevant estimating experience in joinery and fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods.
• Excellent Excel and estimating-software skills and attention to detail.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be organized, technically capable and comfortable working in a project-driven environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards. UAE or GCC construction experience may be advantageous depending on the role.
