Job Overview

Al Majid Group is recruiting for the Draughtman Fitout/Interior/Joinery position in the United Arab Emirates. This opportunity supports the group’s fit-out, joinery, construction or technical operations and is suited to a professional with relevant industry experience. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate effectively with internal teams, project stakeholders, suppliers and site personnel while maintaining quality, safety, programme and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings for interior, fit-out and joinery packages.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details and fabrication drawings.
• Translate design concepts into practical construction details.
• Coordinate drawings with site conditions and other disciplines.
• Revise drawings based on consultant, client and project-team comments.
• Prepare production and installation details for factory and site teams.
• Maintain drawing revisions and submission records.
• Support site teams with clarification drawings when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, interior design or related discipline.
• Experience preparing fit-out/interior/joinery drawings.
• Strong AutoCAD skills; 3D software knowledge is advantageous.
• Good understanding of construction details and materials.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be organized, technically capable and comfortable working in a project-driven environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality standards. UAE or GCC construction experience may be advantageous depending on the role.
