DENTIST – PEDODONTIST (ARABIC SPEAKER) – MESAIEED

Provide comprehensive dental care for children and adolescents, with additional support for patients who may have special healthcare needs. The position calls for a compassionate pediatric dental specialist who can reduce anxiety, create a child-friendly clinical experience and work closely with families to build healthy lifelong oral-care habits.

The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine young patients, assess oral health and prepare appropriate prevention and treatment plans.
• Deliver pediatric dental procedures using safe, age-appropriate techniques and clear explanations for children and parents.
• Help anxious patients feel comfortable and adapt communication to the child’s needs and level of understanding.
• Explain oral hygiene, nutrition and follow-up care to parents or guardians and encourage preventive routines.
• Contribute to clinical learning or tutoring activities where required and maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements and Experience

• At least seven years of experience as a specialist pediatric dentist is required.
• Fluency in Arabic and English and an existing Qatar Department of Healthcare Professions specialist licence are required.
• Experience in clinical tutoring at an academic institute as a pediatric dentistry specialist is sought.

Qualifications

BDS or DDS plus a Master of Clinical Dentistry or postgraduate specialization in Pediatric Dentistry; current Qatar DHP specialist licence
