University Hospital Sharjah is recruiting for the Occupational Therapist position in Sharjah, UAE. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical, cognitive, sensory and emotional assessments.
• Evaluate activities of daily living and functional independence.
• Develop individualized short- and long-term treatment goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic activities and interventions.
• Use assistive devices and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Educate patients and families on home strategies and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other rehabilitation professionals.
• Document progress and contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid DHA or MOH occupational-therapy license.
• Minimum 5 years clinical OT experience, preferably in an acute hospital.
• Experience with pediatric, adult and geriatric populations is preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication and multidisciplinary skills.
