Commis Chef – Burgers

Kitopi is looking for a motivated Commis Chef – Burgers to join its culinary team in Dubai. The position is suitable for a junior kitchen professional who is passionate about food and willing to learn in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The role supports chefs with ingredient preparation, burger-section activities, kitchen organization and service readiness while following recipes, hygiene procedures and food-safety standards. Candidates who can adapt quickly, follow instructions and work well within a team are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Prepare ingredients according to approved recipes and kitchen standards.
• Support burger preparation and maintain consistency in preparation and presentation.
• Keep workstations, equipment and kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Follow food-safety, hygiene and proper food-storage procedures at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods and high-volume production.
• Handle ingredients correctly and follow guidance from senior culinary staff.
• Contribute positively to teamwork and maintain a professional kitchen attitude.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Commis or in a professional kitchen is preferred.
• Culinary qualification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work under pressure.
