Commis Chef – (Immediate Joiners)

Kitopi is looking for motivated Junior Commis Chefs in Dubai, with preference for candidates who can join immediately. The role provides hands-on support to the culinary team through ingredient preparation, food production, workstation organization and service support. Candidates should be willing to learn, follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs, maintain hygiene standards and work effectively during busy periods. This is an entry-level opportunity within a professional hospitality operation and is suited to candidates who want to develop their culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Maintain clean and hygienic workstations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food-safety and hygiene procedures consistently.
• Store and handle food items correctly.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Maintain consistency in food preparation and presentation.
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute positively to team operations.

Requirements

• Previous Commis or professional kitchen experience is preferred.
• Culinary qualification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work under pressure.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
