CNC Machinist (DMG, Mazak, Integrex)

NOV is seeking a CNC Machinist in Dubai to produce precision-machined components for oilfield and manufacturing applications. The position is responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC equipment while maintaining dimensional accuracy, product quality, safe working practices and proper care of company machinery. The role requires practical machining knowledge and familiarity with CNC equipment used for threaded connections and drilling components.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to drawings, specifications and approved programs.
• Machine threaded connections and components while maintaining required dimensional and quality standards.
• Inspect threads and finished parts using appropriate measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Work with DMG, Mazak and related CNC equipment and follow approved operating procedures.
• Interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions and technical specifications.
• Identify machining problems, tooling issues and machine performance concerns and take appropriate corrective action.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workshop environment.
• Protect and properly maintain company tools, equipment and machinery.
• Follow NOV safety, quality and operational requirements at all times.

Requirements

• Industrial or Manufacturing Diploma, or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or a related trade.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant machining experience.
• Experience as a Turner, Machinist or Fitter.
• Experience with DMG, Mazak or comparable CNC machines is preferred.
• Oil & Gas manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of API/Grant Prideco/Tenaris/VAM-type connections and drilling components is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
