Description
The Assistant Manager – Asset Management supports asset performance and investment planning across hospitality assets, including hotels and resorts. The role helps assess capital expenditure proposals, review project justifications and monitor whether actual performance matches approved assumptions. It also supports operator oversight and the consistent use of asset-management frameworks, reports and follow-up trackers.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review annual and five-year CAPEX plans, project briefs, scopes and investment justifications.
- Evaluate major capital proposals and value-enhancement initiatives using financial returns, commercial rationale and risk.
- Track major projects and support post-investment reviews comparing approved assumptions with actual results.
- Review operator performance against business objectives, approved plans and management-agreement obligations.
- Maintain asset-management frameworks, checklists, reporting templates and standard tracking tools.
- Coordinate follow-up with hotel operators, asset managers and support functions to ensure actions progress.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least three years in investment analysis, corporate finance, private equity, asset management, real-estate or hospitality investments, or investment banking.
- Knowledge of NPV, DCF, IRR, ROI and sensitivity analysis.
- Ability to review hotel profit-and-loss statements, hospitality KPIs and portfolio reports.
- Experience with benchmarking, market intelligence and data-visualisation or reporting tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and clear communication with operators and internal stakeholders.
