Description
Operate and monitor assigned process units in the condensate refinery, including the Condensate Distillation Unit, hydrotreaters and Continuous Catalytic Reforming platformer. The role supports stable production, responds to process deviations and maintains safety, environmental and quality requirements in rotating-shift and field conditions.
The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor unit operating parameters, alarms, trends and equipment condition to maintain stable production.
- Operate and troubleshoot pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, reactors and associated control systems.
- Follow process-flow diagrams, P&IDs, operating procedures and instructions from the control room or supervisor.
- Apply safety controls including HAZOP actions, lockout/tagout, permit-to-work and emergency response procedures.
- Record readings, abnormal events, maintenance needs and shift handover information accurately.
Requirements and Experience
- Approximately five to ten years of hands-on refinery experience with CDU, hydrotreaters and CCR platformers is required.
- Experience troubleshooting process equipment and control systems is important.
- Applicants should communicate in English, work well in teams and be able to work rotating shifts and outdoors.
