SR. DRILLING SUPERVISOR

Supervise drilling activities and coordinate rig personnel, service providers and operational support to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently and in line with approved well programmes. The role focuses on operational discipline, well integrity, contractor performance and rapid resolution of drilling challenges.

The role requires collaboration across relevant teams, accurate documentation and early escalation of risks that may affect safety, quality or delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily drilling operations against the approved well programme, schedule and technical requirements.
• Coordinate rig crews, contractors and service companies and verify that required equipment and services are ready.
• Promote safe work practices, well-control readiness and compliance with operational procedures.
• Review drilling reports, performance trends and emerging risks and coordinate corrective actions.
• Communicate operational progress, incidents, technical decisions and lessons learned to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements and Experience

• Substantial drilling operations experience, including supervising field activities, is relevant to the position.
• Knowledge of well-control practices, drilling equipment, contractor management and oilfield HSE requirements is important.
• Applicants should demonstrate sound judgement, clear reporting and the ability to manage time-critical operational issues.
