Description
Guide the delivery of digital products by translating user and business needs into clear product requirements and prioritised development work. The role connects business stakeholders, designers, developers and quality teams so that each release solves the right problem and provides measurable value. It involves maintaining a delivery backlog, reviewing designs and test outcomes, monitoring progress and using user feedback and market analysis to improve product decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define product concepts, requirements, specifications and acceptance criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring stories are ready before each sprint begins.
- Coordinate business, UX, development and quality-assurance teams to keep releases aligned with product goals and timelines.
- Review interface designs and test cases, resolve questions quickly and remove obstacles affecting delivery.
- Monitor product and team performance, track risks and recommend changes when delivery or quality deviates from agreed plans.
- Research market trends and competitor approaches, and gather customer feedback to identify enhancements and practical opportunities.
Requirements
- Demonstrate experience working with software teams, product requirements and iterative delivery methods.
- Translate broad business needs into clear, prioritised tasks with acceptance criteria.
- Communicate comfortably with technical colleagues, business users and external clients.
- Organise competing priorities and make decisions based on value, feasibility and user needs.
Qualifications
- Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in product management, information systems, technology or business.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum practices and common product-delivery tools is helpful.
- Experience in travel, airline or other complex service platforms is advantageous.
