Description
The Executive Director – Organisation Effectiveness leads the group-wide approach to organisation design, workforce planning, job architecture, job evaluation and people governance. The role advises senior leadership on structural and workforce decisions and helps translate strategy into effective structures, roles and headcount plans. It also leads major restructuring and transformation work while maintaining data integrity and consistent frameworks across a complex, diversified group.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the group people-strategy framework, people scorecards and governance for key people deliverables.
- Direct organisation design, restructuring and workforce reviews, including current- and future-state structures and associated cost analysis.
- Own job architecture, job descriptions, grading conventions and the governance of job evaluation.
- Align workforce plans and hiring controls with business plans, approved budgets and succession needs.
- Maintain reliable organisation data, reporting, people analytics and organisation-chart information across entities.
- Advise executives, lead the Organisation Effectiveness team and manage external specialists supporting the function.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Around 12–15 years in organisation design, organisation effectiveness, workforce planning or HR strategy, including senior leadership experience.
- Demonstrated leadership of major restructuring or transformation in complex, multi-entity organisations.
- Experience advising executive leadership and governance committees on organisation and workforce decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Consulting or professional-services experience is advantageous.
