Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residence is a 41-floor luxury serviced apartment tower located in the centre of Dubai's business district. About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive - Learning and Development to join Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Plan the monthly and annual training calendar and facilitate departmental trainers' meetings.
- Verify monthly training records submitted by all departments and prepare summary training hours reports.
- Prepare and submit trainers' bonus summaries on a monthly basis.
- Brief new colleagues on training-related matters based on the colleague induction checklist.
- Facilitate group training courses that address identified training needs and ensure all training programmes, materials, and practices support the achievement of Jumeirah's vision.
- Maintain full awareness of departmental standards outlined in standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with established requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Strong team player with the ability to take on leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities.
- Diploma-level qualification from a university or recognised institution in Hospitality, Human Resources, Learning and Development, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in guest-facing departments such as Front Office, Food and Beverage, or Sales, along with exposure to Human Resources.
- Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce or within a customer service-oriented industry.
- Proven experience in Learning and Development, including administrative coordination and day-to-day operational support.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
