About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager to join the Front Office team at Jumeirah Saadiyat Island.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Represent hotel management outside regular office hours, overseeing front office colleagues during overnight shifts to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage the JI loyalty programme, including addressing pending points and conducting training sessions.
  • Monitor daily booking situations and handle guest bookings in the event of overbooking.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of lobby and entrance areas, coordinating with Housekeeping, Lobby Ambassadors, and Concierge as needed.
  • Document major incidents and important guest feedback in the appropriate reports.
  • Regularly check and maintain input standards, including guest profiles, market, source, and channel codes, and report any issues to the Assistant Front Office Manager for improvement.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English and a second language such as Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic, or French is required for this role.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Duty Manager or 2 years of experience as a Team Leader in a reputed hospitality brand.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud), and HotSoS.
