About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Instructor to join the Sports and Leisure team at Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Maintain fitness equipment in excellent working condition and ensure the gym is set up according to standard procedures.
• Monitor stock levels of fresh towels, refreshments, and other gym supplies and ensure they are adequately maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of guest activities and facilities used, regularly verify guest history and profile records, and inform the Spa Manager of any unusual guest behaviour or medical conditions.
• Maximise sales opportunities to achieve targets for private fitness sessions by promoting personalised exercise programmes and treatments.
• Regularly review fitness menus and pricing and identify opportunities to increase sales and improve guest engagement.
• Report for duty punctually in the correct uniform and follow all hotel employee rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Participate in all required training programmes and deliver professional fitness services with attention to detail in accordance with LQA and Jumeirah standards.
• Adhere to and promote health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the fitness facilities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information and handle inappropriate guest behaviour in accordance with hotel standards.
